- From the fair city of London, Ontario, the band formerly known as Trout sole occupation is to rock the nation. Described as Dinosaur Jr. with a smile, its btand of jangly power pop is energetic and peppy, as its nationwide audience will testify. Mixing many indie influences, the New Grand has managed to "not only take on but surpass any of the veritable legion of power pop bands which this country is churning out with alarming regularity.
