A rare military medal that ended up in London is on its way back to Ottawa, but how it got here remains a mystery. Wendy Hoare, owner of Jeffrey Hoare Auctions, said yesterday the person who was trying to sell Filip Konowal's Victoria Cross in an auction next month "has requested to remain anonymous until the matter is resolved."
