WASHINGTON -- The World Health Organization has called an unprecedented summit meeting of flu vaccine makers and countries to ramp up plans to meet the rising threat of a flu pandemic. Sixteen vaccine companies and health officials from the U.S. and other large countries already have agreed to join the summit Nov. 11 in Geneva, Switzerland, said Klaus Stohr, influenza chief of the United Nations' health agency.
