BAGHDAD -- Two close associates of insurgent leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, including the chief of his Baghdad operations, have been arrested, the United States-installed government announced yesterday, just two days before the country's national elections. The rebels, meanwhile, targeted more polling sites across the country and a suicide car bomber killed four police in the capital. U.S. fighter jets thundered in the skies over Baghdad throughout the morning in a show of force.
