    Background

     Back after a five year absence and attempting to put a series a legal problems behind him, Leblanc joins Pierre Lueders' team this season where he'll compete in the four-man crew with Dave MacEachern and Jack Pyc, and may also see action as an alternative brakeman in the two-man event.

     Leblanc, 29, was a member of Chris Lori's Olympic crews in 1988 and 1992 and the high point of his career came in 1989-90 when he won with overall World Cup four-man title with Lori.
