Linda Johnson Blair's troubled times on the oval since she underwent knee surgery three seasons ago appear to be over. So far during the 1997-98 season, the Fort St, John, B.C., native has improved her times dramatically even breaking the magic 39 second barrier in the 500 metres, her best event. Blair, a 26-year-old exercise physiology student at the University of Calgary, is also involved with the Olympic youth movement and serves as spokesperson for the Stay in School program. She is married to Edmonton Eskimos receiver Don Blair. |
