    Rebagliati to appear on Leno

NAGANO, Japan (CP) -- Canadian snowboarder Ross Rebagliati is headed to Hollywood.
The gold medallist from Whistler, B.C., is booked to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight, the Canadian Olympic Association confirmed early today.
Rebagliati is slated to take part in the taping around 5 p.m. PST before flying to Vancouver. He then heads to Whistler on Tuesday for a welcome home party. Organizers expect 6,000 to turn out.
Other guests scheduled on Leno tonight include supermodel Veronica Webb. A "pigs and wiener dogs race" is also billed.
The 26-year-old snowboarder has become a cause celebre since losing and then regaining his gold medal after testing positive for marijuana.
Rebagliati has already made late-night TV. He was the subject of a skit on Saturday Night Live.
