Hulk Hogan back on top of the world

By MR. X -- Ottawa Sun
PARTS UNKNOWN -- He's gone from Hulk to Hollywood and back again, but Terry Gene Bollea is once again heavyweight champion of the world.

Hulk Hogan returned to World Championship Wrestling with a bang Monday on Nitro, answering an open challenge from Randy Savage, who had won the belt just the night before.

And, with fan support for the first time in years, Hogan won the title.
AROUND THE WWF: With Jesse "The Body" Ventura checking in as a guest referee for next month's SummerSlam, the next question is who will be fighting in that main event. It could be any combination of two from Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, The Rock or Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Could Austin lose his title to The Undertaker in the first-blood match at next week's pay-per-view? If that's the case, look for The Rock to become the new champion at Summer Slam with an assist from The Body ... Goldust seems to be out of the picture ... Look for The Headbangers to get it together again ... The Hardy Boyz are dynamic ... It'll be interesting to see where the DX angle goes ... And what about Chris Jericho, who will pop up in the WWF within the next month?Could the WWF try some sort of Millenium angle with him? He's got the physical and speaking talents to be a major star ... Austin is involved in another solid (and humourous) angle on the next RAW.
WCW BITS: Sting will meet Ric Flair on Nitro with control of WCW at stake ... The Triad (Diamond Dallas Page, Kanyon and Bam Bam) is a solid group ... Nice to see Harlem Heat back together.
