Scottsdale, AZ - The reaction to Chaos!' announcement of publishing Stone Cold Steve Austin: Tougher Than the Rest was immediate and intense. The first comic book miniseries starring World Wrestling Federation champion and arguably the worlds most popular professional wrestler, Stone Cold Steve Austin, launches this October.

But no one wants to wait for the series to start. "We're going to answer the fans' wishes," says Chaos! President and Publisher Brian Pulido. "A special six-page preview of Stone Cold Steve Austin: Tougher Than the Rest will appear in both the Undertaker #6 and the Mankind Special coming in August."

The sneak peek at the miniseries will be written by Tougher Than the Rest writer Steven Grant with art by miniseries artist James Fry. "These advance pages really give us a chance to put our money where our mouth is," Pulido says. "Fans will be able to see both the power of Steven's story as well as the dead-on likeness James is providing for the pencils. It's a powerful book, and these pages are really going to excite fans."

Expanding on the mythology of Stone Cold, the miniseries casts Austin as the nameless hero - a cultural icon in the likes of John Wayne and other Western heroes. When he comes into Jude River, Texas in issue #1, you can be sure that he's not leaving town until the last body falls.
