FC Barcelona could stack Spanish team

MADRID, Spain (AP) -- Young midfielder Albert Celades and eight other players from Spanish powerhouse FC Barcelona were among 29 called for tryouts to decide the final Spanish team for the World Cup.
Celades, 22, and fellow midfielder Benjamin Zarandona, 22, of Valladolid were the surprise names announced by coach Javier Clemente. They will join Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes, 20, and Mallorca's Ivan Campo, 24, who debuted in Spain's recent 4-0 exhibition victory against Sweden.
The 29 players chosen will have medical tests Monday. Clemente will have to drop seven players before announcing the final 22-man squad June 5.
Besides the Barcelona nine, the team also includes five from Real Madrid and four each from Athletic de Bilbao and Atletico de Madrid.
