Fans of Hello Kitty may want to check out the popular character's newest digs in Malaysia. The just-opened Hello Kitty Town at Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park in Nusajaya is the first one outside of Japan, and early attendance numbers indicate it is a big hit with visitors. The attraction consists of walk-through experiences, interactive activities and Kitty-themed rides, etc., including: -- The hi-tech interactive Black Wonder experience. -- The Hello Kitty House. -- The "Purrfect" Stage, with live performances by -- who else -- Hello Kitty and friends My Melody, Little Twin Stars and others. -- Wistful Studio, where children can make jewelry, participate in costume parties, decorate their nails with Kitty and other Sanrio characters. -- Children can also make Hello Kitty cookies at the cookie studio, design a Hello Kitty doll at the doll factory, enjoy teacup rides at Friendship Land, and pose for pictures with Hello Kitty and company. Puteri Harbour theme park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to Hello Kitty Town is about $21.25. For details, visit playtime.com.my and click on Hello Kitty Town.
