Alberta’s Banff National Park will be the romantic setting for a dream date between Bachelor Sean Lowe and the lovely ladies vying for his affection on the 17th season of ABC’s The Bachelor.

The episode, airing Feb. 5, sees Sean and the girls getting active in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, rock climbing on Tunnel Mountain, canoeing on the unmistakably lovely Lake Louise and taking a trek on the Columbia Icefield. The rose ceremony for the episode was also held in a special location: the iconic Victoria Ballroom at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

“It was a fun-filled privilege to have the cast and crew of The Bachelor come to Banff National Park and showcase the destination on such a grand scale,” Julie Canning, president and CEO of Banff Lake Louise Tourism, said in a press release. “The park’s setting, with its awe-inspiring surroundings, seems to naturally inspire romance so it will be exciting to see how Sean’s romantic escapades in beautiful Banff and Lake Louise unravel.”

Cast and crew on The Bachelor have visted some of Earth’s most exotic — and romantic — destinations over the 17 seasons the show has aired on ABC. Notable locales featured include Tahiti, Switzerland and St. Lucia.

All travellers now have the opportunity to enjoy Banff and Lake Louise like Sean and the ladies did, thanks to the Lake Louise Bachelor package. Including luxury accommodation at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, romantic treats upon arrival and complimentary in-room breakfast, this decadent package is perfect for a romantic getaway this Valentine’s. Rates start at $339 per night. Visit banfflakelouise.com/bachelor for more information.
