The sleepy English town of Kings Langley is set for a 'Game of Thrones' makeover next month after locals agreed to change the place's name to Kings Landing for a week.
The Hertfordshire town, not far from Hemel Hempstead, will become the TV show's fictional capital of Westeros for six days to coincide with the release of the drama's season three DVD.
One local says, "I gather a producer discovered we were part of the London commuter belt and decided to pursue the name change. There are a lot of Game of Thrones fans in the town, so this should be a lot of fun."
The cast of the fantasy series, based on the popular books by George R. R. Martin, includes Charles Dance, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke.
