If the idea of a yoga retreat hits the spot but not the bank account, a new US-based yoga travel company hopes to make yoga-minded trips more affordable.
Owner of yoga travel company SolYoga Ben Crosky and yoga instructor Dan Wilf have created a new enterprise dubbed Yogascapes, which offers upcoming trips to Nicaragua, Italy, and Morocco priced at around $1,395 a week, which can be thousands of dollars cheaper than luxury retreats.
"That could mean more pretty and peaceful places to lay your mat without draining your wallet," writes fitness blog Well + Good NYC.
Another affordable yoga retreat option is the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat in Paradise Island, Bahamas. Located just across the bay from Nassau, the retreat's lodging ranges from modest cabins to beachfront suites, with the room rates starting at $73 per night for up to six nights. Or stay at the ashram for $45 per day.
