Serious shoppers with a no-nonsense retail agenda are being wooed by the Mandarin Oriental in Paris, which has developed a ‚ā¨1,000 hotel package that includes a private shopping experience at upscale department store Printemps.
Launched this month, the hotel's J'aime la Mode package includes a VIP welcome to Printemps Haussman, where a personal shopper will curate items specially for the guest for a stress-free shopping experience, sans crowds and lines.
Also included in the package is a one-night accommodation, breakfast for two, a spa credit of ‚ā¨150, local delivery and international shipping of purchases and a Printemps gift candle.
The J'aime la Mode package starts at ‚ā¨995 ($1,358 USD).
Toronto hotel the Sutton Place Hotel also launched an outrageous $500,000 Valentine's Day package this year that includes $50,000 worth of diamonds and a $100,000 shopping spree at upscale Canadian department store Holt Renfrew.
Meanwhile, over in New York, the Radisson Martinique has partnered with the world's largest department store, Macy's, to offer a 'Shop 'Til You Drop' package that includes a personal shopper, a book of shopping coupons and overnight accommodations.
