A video sketch starring Sir Patrick Stewart re-enacting the most annoying types of airline passengers has gone viral for the actor's cheeky interpretations of the 'Chatty Cathy,' 'Stinky Snacker,' and 'Seat Climber.'
Stewart appeared on US late night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to help the host illustrate some of the biggest pet peeves named in Expedia's recent Airplane Etiquette Study which polled about 1,000 US travellers.
Opening the five-minute sketch was the 'Chatty Cathy,' the dreaded chatterbox seatmate with little concept of personal privacy.
"Hello, what's your name? Where are you from? What is it that you do? My name's Patrick. I'm English. Like the muffin," says a breathless Stewart.
"I read that book," he continues, gesturing at his seatmate's book. "She dies in the end."
A day after being posted on the Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube channel, the video garnered more than half a million views.
Topping Expedia's latest etiquette survey, cited by 67% of travellers as the most annoying in-flight behavior, is the rear seat kicker, followed by inattentive parents and flyers with poor hygiene (dubbed the 'aromatic passenger').
