Almost half of Canadians (45%) say they are more adventurous in the bedroom while on vacation, a new survey has found.
As well, 19% of those polled said they would accept a drink from a stranger on vacation, 11% watch porn and 8% admitted to cheating on their spouse or partner, the Leger Canada survey for Choice Hotels Canada found.
"Human behaviour is a fascinating thing to analyze and there are many differences in how we behave when at home, compared to when we are in a new environment such as a hotel," Seneca College behavioural sciences professor Laura Cavanagh said about the survey results.
The poll also found 82% of people chat up strangers on vacation, while 70% cheat on their diet.
The survey of 1,000 adult Canadians who have taken a leisure trip in the past year was conducted June 11 to July 17 using an online panel. No margin of error was provided.
